Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my text covered on TikTok?
TikTok dynamically overlays UI elements (like the profile picture, engagement buttons, and captions) on top of your video. If you place your in-video text or crucial visuals in the bottom 22% or the right 15% of your 9:16 video, it will be hidden by the app's interface.
What are the safe zones for Instagram Reels?
Instagram Reels has a slightly different layout than TikTok. The most critical "danger zone" is the bottom 20-25% of the screen where captions and account information sit. The right edge also contains the like, comment, and share icons. Always keep text in the central 70% of the screen.
How to test TikTok safe zone before posting?
You can use our interactive visualizer above! Simply upload a screenshot or exported frame of your video, click the "TikTok Safe Zone" button, and ensure none of your text or important graphics overlap with the red danger zones. Alternatively, download our transparent PNG templates and overlay them directly in your video editor (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve).
